Satisfied Customer

I read a lot of the reviews after I purchased my daughter's shoes and thought oh no I hope this goes well. I didn't have to deal with customer service, I didn't have to wait long for them to arrive either. I ordered on 8/20 and paid the extra fee to have them delivered sooner and received them on 8/23. Everything was great from the size to the quality of shoe. I will be ordering again soon! Don't let these reviews keep you from ordering with Rack Room.

Love this store

Every part of my experienece with Rack Room shoes at this location has been above and beyond my expectations. This is a locally owned business with a product that is American made, something I am always looking for in the businesses that I frequent. It's an added bonus that their customer service is beyond reproach. Two weeks ago I purchased 2 pairs of men's dress shoes. The quality was impeccable. The owners worked with me to get the exact fit I needed, going to great lengths to make sure I was completely satisfied. They have found a customer for life!

TERRIBLE SERVICE

I ORDERED 2 PAIR OF NIKE BOROUGH SHOES ON 7/29 AND I DIDN'T RECEIVE MY SHIPMENT THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE DELIVERED TO ME ON FRIDAY 8/5. WHEN REACHING OUT TO CUSTOMER SERVICE, NO ONE KNOWS ANYTHING. THEY KEPT ME ON HOLD. DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM RACK ROOM ONLINE.

Disappointing, unprofessional, awful

I ordered a pair of the black platform converse July 1st. It is now July 29th. I just got off the phone with customer service and the lady had no answers for me. I asked why it's has taken almost a month for the company to send me my shoes and she said they are sold out. If they're sold out why does it say in stock? I didn't even receive an email that you guys can't fulfill my order. So unprofessional. The lady on the phone even asked me why it took me so long to call?! I had the benefit of the doubt but that was wrong of me. I'm mad because you have taken my money and I still have not received my product. No wonder you guys have not even a 2 star ratting. Laughable.

DONT SHOP HERE (0 stars)

I purchased a pair of shoes and wore them 2x in 5 days causing visible blisters on my toes. I went with my receipt to exchange them for another pair. The sandles were still in perfect condition except the bottoms (which you litterally walk on) had a few marks. I was told they would not take them because they were worn. DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE

Rack Room can do better with online orders and delivery.

I have been ordering shoes from Rack Room for a long time and this is the first time I’ve had a bad experience. I ordered some Nike shoes and never received them. I think they need to get another shipping company beside FedEx. I called Fed-Ex to inquire about my shoes using the tracking number given to me by them and the tracking said my shoes were supposed to be here on Sunday, but they didn’t come. I called Fed-Ex to ask where my shoes were and they were VERY rude so, I asked to speak to a supervisor and they are even worse. I was suppose to get my order on Sunday, then Wednesday but then they stopped all tracking and told me the order will be there in a few days. I called Rack Room and they told me to just wait on order because they can’t cancel it until I get my order. I will never order on line from Rack Room again. I talked to a local manager and he assured me that they can order and ship to store and take care of all the stress from ordering online. I had to give one star on the survey because, it wouldn’t let my in with no stars. Rack Room stores are good but online sucks and FedEx delivery sucks with tracking information.

Great service and huge selection in store and online!

Reading these "reviews", makes you wonder what planet some of these people live on. Each brand fits differently. Unless you or reordering something you already have, or tried on at a store, chances are they are different sizing. Again, Each Brand Fits Differently! Stop complaining about return shipping fees. Those returns are your fault!

Don't Even Think About Canceling

I ordered a pair of shoes online and within less than 10 minutes, changed my mind and tried to cancel the order. There is NOWHERE on their website to cancel an order, so l sent an email. They say they respond to emails within 24 hours. 29 hours later, I got an email telling me my order had shipped. I called them and was told by a very snarky employee that you absolutely CANNOT CANCEL OR CHANGE an order, regardless. I received the shoes anyway, and I have to pay for the return shipping, which is at least $10 by USPS, more for FedEx, and it could take a month or more to get a refund. To make matters worse, they left the security device on one of the shoes, and it would be impossible to remove without damaging the shoe. NEVER AGAIN !!!
UPDATE: The postage for the return was $10.65 USPS. Several days later I got an email telling me I was getting a partial refund, despite the fact that I had fulfilled all requirements for a full refund. After several emails, I finally got the balance of my refund. Steer clear of this company, they are nothing but trouble.

100% legit Bought shoes on May 2nd received on May 6th just make sure you know your size width ect. Before ordering that way you will not have a problem or have to make a return out of pocket a lot of companies have to pay back shipping $7.99 and up

I would advise potential customers to consider whether they have a retail location nearby. While Rack Room Shoes has great pricing, their online return policy leaves something to be desired in the modern marketplace. In a day and age when return shipping at no charge is offered by many clothing and shoe companies on the internet, you will have to pay return shipping out of your own pocket plus be liable for any shipping charges taken out of your refund with Rack Room Shoes should the shoes not fit/work out for you. In the end, you might spend between $12 and $25 for the round trip shipping... and have nothing to show for it. After making 3 phone calls, and a week waiting for a return phone call that never happened, I spoke with Lisa, supervisor of customer service (800)248-0692, about this policy. She was polite and offered to refund only the original shipping charge. Internet pricing and no charge return policies being what they are at major online retailers like Amazon and Zappos, I suggested that their shipping policy being on the customer should be pointed out on each product page of their website. I am sure this will not happen, since it would certainly lower their sales to customers who don't live close enough to a retail store for returns. BE AWARE. I am still out $11.92... don't let this happen to you!
